Goldfield Bakery - Barkerville

Hands down this is bakery that should not be missed. Grab some soup, fresh breads or a big donut as you will regret not picking something up to try. The smell alone as you walk by stops you in your tracks.

Raspberry White Chocolate cream filled doughnut and chocolate mousse filled croissant were insanely good. Creamy, buttery, flaky goodness. This is baking beamed down from the heavens, not made by mere mortals. And the customer service was delightful. I was astonished by the wide selection of sweet and savory pastries, as well as breads and buns. This bakery has improved tremendously under new ownership.

Bob and Tamara are just the nicest people and their Sourdough Bread is to die for. It is so good it should come with a warning label! Like........ 'If you are a fat guy with a toast and jam habit.....do not open! '
