Aksular Restaurant Meze Bar

I have used this restaurant on a regular basis but not anymore. I waited forever for a delivery when I phoned I was told he was outside. He had gone to the wrong address, he insisted on payment before giving me the food, as I turned to pick up my purse from beside me he stormed off with my food. Having used this restaurant on a regular basis for several years I was astounded to be treated in this way therefore I have removed all my previous reviews and will never use again neither will any of my friends or family. As a PTSD sufferer living alone I did not expect to be shouted at or feel threatened. The food is OK but there are many other better ones in the area.

Tried their mixed grill, decent food, they also have a lunch offer. Parking is a big problem. Decent service, clean tables.

We just love the Lamb Chicken Shish Kebabs from this restaurant. The meat is always so tender and tasty. We eat in too quite often and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a lot smaller than it used to be but that hasn’t made any difference to the quality of the food.

This place is fine for a budget meal with friends. I couldn't tell if they serve alcohol. The food is decent—typical options like kebabs and lamb shank, but nothing special. It feels more like a takeaway kebab shop than a proper restaurant. I took someone on a date here and regretted it; it wasn’t very romantic, more like dining in a public restroom! The atmosphere is clean but quite bare. The staff didn’t seem like traditional waiters; they felt more like takeaway servers. They don’t offer coffee, either. While I can’t say I disliked it, I wouldn't recommend it for a date. The food was fine—after all, you can’t go wrong with a kebab and a can of Coke, right?!

The food was tasty and fairly priced, but my experience was disappointing. I had become a regular here because of the convenience, but the treatment I received was lacking. The portions were on the smaller side, leaving the plate looking rather empty upon arrival. I noticed staff reprimanding children, and there was not a single smile from the employees during my visit. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience. I'm now looking for a new place, as I dread encountering the gloomy faces of the staff while they serve my food.
