Feedback gevenWe actually ordered a takeaway from Deiveroo. On the menu was Plaice with no mention that you only got one half. You could have had chips or a salad or both. We chose Plaice salad and the cost was £44.38. Expensive and not value for money.
A lovely, local fish and chip shop. In NW11 (Temple Fortune). Fresh fish, well cooked, with excellent old fashioned thick chips. Great value place, with friendly couple serving.
Ordered through UberEats. 2 Fish Chips and Chips, 2 x Sausage Chips. I received 2 x Fish, 2 x Sausage and one portion of chips, the tiniest portion although I ordered large. I complained to Uber but received no reply. I call the shop directly and spoke to Sokul. I explained the issue and he just kept telling me to speak to UberEats. Absolutely no help at all. He reparation told me that it was an UberEats issue and the fish Chios doesn’t come with chips on UberEats, need to order that separately. For £36, all I received was 2 x Fish, 2 x Sausages and 1 x Tiny Chips. Sokul told me that ordering directly would be cheaper as UberEats increase then prices and if I had ordered directly he could have helped. As a business, you’d want to assist a customer with an issue somehow, Sokul clearly had no interest. AVOID AT ALL COST
ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! If it were possible to give a negative star review then I would. Having decided to try a different fish shop (because our normal shop was closed) we order our usual Friday order which normally costs us around £25. Uber delivery included. The total cost of this VASTLY OVERPRICED shop was £47.74. Uber 's delivery charge was only £1.79 after our discount (confirmed by the company receipt). The shop had the front to send a menu with our order which confirmed that the actual cost should have been £27.00. Believing that there may have been a mistake I called the shop asking for clarification regarding the price difference. Well...... The person answering the phone was the most arrogant, disconcerted, and uninterested person it has been my unfortunate privilege to speak to. They had absolutely NO interest in listening to any question I had. Their only answer was It 's UBER 's issue ' Which it wasn 't. But to ensure this I called UBER. The OVERCHARGING is definitely only down to COD FATHER. So Having confirmed the extortionate price in writing, I called this shop back. Luckily the same person answered. He was dismissive, completely arrogant, and disinterested. It was not reasonable nor good business to tell customers It 's your fault, you used UBER, you should have collected . Fortunately, I recorded this conversation. Working as a presenter on a London Radio Station I will certainly NOT be endorsing this place. The staff 's attitude is the worse I have encountered in a long time. DO NOT waste your money ordering from here. There is much better close by.
Used to frequent this restaurant back in 2005-2007. Service at the time was good. However the service I got today was appalling. Won’t bother coming back here.
