Henshall Street Fisheries - Barnsley

My first time visiting here and I will give it another go. Decided to have a large fish, chips and peas. This was the biggest piece of fish I had ever seen. The batter was tasty and the quantity and quality of fish was second to none. The chips and peas were standard run of the mill, but what swung it for me was the size of the fish and the friendly service.

Been here a few times and carn't recommend enough the quality and quantity of the fish n chips, the service is warm and welcoming and nothing is to much trouble. If you like a little kick to your curry they have 2 options well done for the new manager and her family thnx Ann n Andy x

Excellent fish and chips they were cooked to order and well worth the wait will be returning very soon

Live nearby but never been so decided one evening to have a bag of chips and they were lovely and cooked fresh. Since then we have returned and the fish and curry are just as good. Recommend.

The chips were a little so-so, but the fish was delicious, being freshly cooked there and then. The owner was friendly and the prices were reasonable. Would recommend.
