Mumbai Lounge - Barnsley

I had a delightful dinner at Mumbai Lounge tonight. Five of us opted for the 5-course special and the food was fantastic as always! The wait between courses was not too long and the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food and service were impeccable and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! I'm sure I'll be returning soon.

I recently ate at this restaurant with my 15-year-old son, and I can confidently say that I will not be returning. In one word: rude.

Lovely Christmas Dinner spoiled by terrible customer service afterwards. Paid my deposit weeks ago £40 watched my name and details of payment being written in their diary, forgot my receipt today and they wouldn’t quickly check their diary. I either had to pay £40 again or send one of the party all way home to get the receipt (which we did).

My girlfriend and I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now and we absolutely love the food and staff. We always choose Mumbai for our dining out experience. We sometimes come with other couples and even have lads curry nights here. It's a hidden gem where you can enjoy delicious food and beer. I would recommend it to anyone, whether you're a couple, a family, or a group looking to party. The tandoori lamb chops starters are simply amazing and I could eat them every day. The overall food is wonderful and the staff are very friendly, creating a lovely atmosphere. They always go above and beyond to make our dining experience special.

Cash only , told to walk to the garage for cash ?? Food was horrendous basic and the young lad serving had no idea what jack Daniel’s and coke was so drank cola all evening Decor was run down and seats were peeling, we were frozen inside was cold Had to ring my friends partner to bring cash so embarrassing on my birthday….never again
