Ricco Pizza - Barnsley

Been ordering from Riccos for years. Something has clearly changed as the last 2 orders have been really dissapointing. Food missing, had to wait on the correct order. Kebabs swimming in garlic sauce. Also, please don 't say a folded over dry pizza base is actually a Nan bread.

First two pizza missing so charged £23 for a dinner meat and chips driver said I should call shop said sorry will be 20 minutes arrive start eating find hairs in both pizzas !! Phones shop sorry we will replace- urm no thanks hygiene should better than that won’t be going back!!! Extra hygiene should be in place due to Covid but clearly missing simple basics in this shop!

I probably should have read reviews before ordering the special burger with extra cheese. Burgers are supposed to come with salad and fries, but I ordered extra cheese on my burger. Unfortunately, the burger bun was mushy and wet, making it difficult to get out of the container. The salad only consisted of a few lettuce shreds and raw onion strips, and I couldn't taste or see any cheese or fried mushrooms. The fries were barely warm and lacked flavor, leaving me disappointed with the overall meal. McDonald's has nothing to fear in comparison. I found it to be poor value for money, especially considering the £2 delivery fee and £1 service charge. I hope the service charge was for the driver. I am now hesitant to try the pizzas, as I was not impressed with the burgers.

Bit expensive but staff and food first class so worth it every time you get what you pay for fast high class service

We always order from here and it’s usually really nice but tonight however was a different story. Me and my sister bit into our pizza (one was a piece of mushroom pizza and the other was Margherita pizza) and both slices had really long hairs in them, it was disgusting we spat it out straight away! Also on the mushroom pizza there was a whole clove of garlic on the top of it which again I had to spit out. Also I ordered halloumi fries at £3.80 a portion to only get 5 tiny pieces of halloumi, what a rip off. My mum phoned up to let them know about it and they offered to send more food but who wants to eat more food when you’ve found two long hairs in it. Disgusting. Will not be ordering from here again which is a shame when we order from here all the time.
