Wilkinson Road Takeaway - Barnsley

We stumbled upon this chip shop one evening and decided to stop in for dinner. We live about a 10-15 minute drive away. We ordered fish and chips and battered sausages, and waited outside while our food cooked. Despite offering a variety of food like burgers, kebabs, and fried chicken, we focused on the traditional chippy items. The chips were particularly delicious, the best I've ever had. I once ordered from this place through a delivery service during the school holidays when I was feeling unwell, but the experience was not as good. The food was late, the chips were cold, and it was more expensive. I wouldn't order delivery from here again. Even though we're not local, we found that the food stayed hot on the drive home. We would definitely visit again for some tasty chips.

We spent £30.00 not worth it at all everything burnt from burger bun to the garlic bread , we rang the takeaway to complain and get them to collect thw food and refund us and she gave us abuse . Avoid at all cost Feel free to email me [hidden email]

My husband collected fish and chips from this outlet and paid with a £20 note- the only one in his wallet. The lady who served him insisted he had given him a £10. She as adamant so he left and I rang and complained. Eventually- after several conversations they agreed to refund the £10. When he went to collect it the same lady again argued that he had given her a £10 note and very reluctantly gave him the money. We will not be going back!

I spent 9 pound for meat feast special pizza with no meat on it. the worst i ever had, frozen from morrisons is better than that shi* and 3 times cheaper. Delivery half hour late.
