I also had the potato soup and it was delicious....The Pumpkin soup had rave reviews as best ever eaten. The Shiska-bobs were beef heart and also a chicken one with onions, peppers and tomatoes. These were very, very good. The beef and veggies was emptied. We were given Pisco Sours, a glass of wine and bottled water for each individual. This is an unbelievable group restaurant but I imagine just going is also worth while.
I picked this place looking at my apps, gathered the family and visited on Friday of the week. In a nutshell the food is dry, not much taste to it, a mix of fast food and polleria . I would not recomend it, a long trip...to make it to the beach and little to taste or enjoy.
Regardless of the food that is just fine, I witnessed discrimination against a family and even threats. The owner’s car was parked in a non-parking area blocking the ramp next to the disability parking spot which the family needed because they had an elder in...a wheelchair and a blind person. The family asked the restaurant staff to help contact the car owner and they excused him saying that he is the owner. When he finally came down instead of apologizing he was rude to them, saying that if they don’t like that they can leave (repeatedly) and even gave instructions to the staff of not letting them in. When the family was about to leave he came back with his security guys and start recording them. There was nothing that people around them could do. This is discrimination under Peruvian law and local regulations. Please, don’t go to a place with and owner like this again.
Pollo a la Brasa is one of Peruvian most typical foods. The chicken is marinated in an awesome mix of spices and then roasted slowly in the fire of coal or wood. Enjoying this chicken while watching the sunset and breathing the fresh air of...Lima sea is a delightful experience.
The chicken they serve is incredible and tender with a delicious crunchy skin surrounding it. Their Peruvian beer is delicious slightly sweat and slightly bitter, the both combined it’s extraordinary, and the starters have multiple different delicious flavors.
