O Acantilado - Barreiros

Walked along the lovely coast that day. Getting a bit hungry we headed into this restaurant, which we spotted the day before when we drove past it. Plenty of tables inside and a good number outside with seaviews. Dogs are welcome on terrace, which was nice. Staff/waiter was really friendly and helpful, told us the daily fish/seafood special which are not on the menu. Since we planned a big dinner we just ordered two plates. Fried Calamari and seafood croquetas. Beer with that. The food was freshly prepared and not frozen/ready-made. But the calamari were still a bit boring and bland, but hot and fresh. But not crispy at all. A nice surprise were the Seafood Croquetas. Really good seafood flavour, nice and creamy inside, crispy outside. A very good dish. Beer was cold, prices fair. It's an ok place to grab some food. But not among the best we've been at on this Road Trip.
