It specializes in delicious sandwiches with a European influence, and I believe the owners are from the Netherlands. We enjoyed made-to-order sandwiches on freshly baked bread, along with a few cups of tea. It may be small, but it's a wonderful alternative to the typical fast food options along Dunlop St.
This restaurant offers many unique Dutch elements. If you're looking for a taste of Holland, this is the place to visit. They have a variety of items including Dutch shoes, Delft products, and candy. A fantastic spot to explore.
I love visiting this restaurant for a sandwich, and if I have the time, I also like to indulge in a soup along with my sandwich. Additionally, I always end up finding other European foods to purchase from their wide selection.
It is a deli where you place your order at the counter and then a table (approx. 6 tables for 4) Prices are large (sandwich is $4.25). The bread was... sooo fresh. Soup was delish (I had the Italian wedding soup) and they offer a good selection of desserts and many packed home Dutch stuff. Service was very friendly. The sandwich was good, not great, but for the money, this place is a great value and I would definitely return
Although this was a year ago we were just talking about going back because we remembered it was pretty good. This is a Mom and Pop place with very functional table settings and chairs. This is really a neat sandwich place with a European flair and I think the hosts are from the Netherlands. We had fresh sandwiches made to order on fresh baked bread and a couple of cups of tea. It's a small place but just great to grab that alternative to the generic fast food that you find along Dunlop St.
