First visit to Hooligans! Love the live music. The TV screen is the biggest I've ever seen! We ordered a variety of food, all great. Atmosphere is great... Super big with tons of space. Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Nachos, Fries, Salad, Burger

Was nice and quiet when we went. After coming back from the bathroom, my friend, who happens to be black, was cutoff and they refused to serve her anything after five drinks cause they believed she was doing drugs in the bathroom. Jayden was a blessing and super understanding and helped sort the issue but the fact that she was targeted and not myself, who had more than double her drinks, it was inexcusable. Also when giving them cash they do not return any of it! We did it twice and we never got the change, they just took it as their tip without asking. Not a great place at all :

The General Manager truly sets the tone for the entire establishment with her warm, welcoming demeanour and meticulous attention to detail. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. The service was impeccable our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. Each dish we tried was expertly prepared with fresh and high quality ingredients, from the crispy calamari to the hot and honey chicken wings, every bite was a delight for the taste buds. But what truly set this experience apart was the General Manager. She made a point to check in on each table throughout the evening, ensuring that everyone was enjoying their meals and drinks and having a pleasant time. Her genuine care and dedication to creating a positive atmosphere made all the difference, and we left feeling like valued guests. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Holligans Gastro Bar enough. With its exceptional service, delicious food, and a fantastic General Manager, it truly stands out as a top notch dining and bar destination in Barrie.
