Shirley's Bayside Grille - Barrie

Shirley is never disappointed when I return to Barrie and make a booking to get up with old friends. I made 2 large bookings between Christmas and New Year and was simply accommodated. The dishes and drinks were as good as ever and we had a variety of main options. I always have the Caesar salad or vegetarian pizza, which are pleasant and the portion sizes are very large. The best thing about Shirleys is customer service. My family has been going there for years and the staff is always attentive, knowledgeable and professional. Can't wait until our next pick up!

I went to Shirley for a pension dinner tonight. The staff was fantastic and very attentive to us all the 3 hours we were there. Waiting was not too bad for food, about 40 minutes (we were a big group). The meal I had was amazing! The best steak potatoes I've had for a long time. Some of my employees agreed that we should all go back sometime.

Incredible foods at reasonable prices. A beautiful location opposite Kempenfelt Bay. Staff are super friendly and pleasant with a great knowledge of the ingredients used in food preparation and serving sizes. Portions were a pleasant size, not hungry, but also not unpleasant. Shirley’s has been here for a few years, but her menu has always the latest trends while maintaining food that people enjoy over the years. Treat yourself to a pleasant meal.

My husband, I and a few friends were on Saturday, 30. November to celebrate our upcoming anniversary. Service was great, food delicious. Only on the bottom, a large table of extremely loud and rowing people. Our waitress apologised for her behavior several times. It spoiled an otherwise beautiful evening. Consider people! Not everyone wants to hear you!

So beautifully decorated. Very comfortable and unique. Though it seems to serve an older crowd the food is to die for and the service impeccable. The Yorkshire Stuffed pudding was absolutely scrumptious and delectable. What’s more is the price won’t break your nut either. Remember, it doesn’t always have to be pretty it just has to be GREAT. (But here it’s definitely pretty too)
