South St. Burger - Barrie

Great selection of high end, tasty toppings on burgers cooked to order. And New York fries. Does it get any better?

All praise for these guys! Great burgers with fresh toppings you can choose or try a signature burger. Fries are NY fries, skin on and cooked like chip truck fries-yum! Burger is served slightly pink inside, juicy and very tasty!Had the Nacho Burger - fresh salsa, guacamole, lettuce, cheddar cheese and jalapeño sour cream - delicious!! My companions had the Mushroom Swiss and it was equally fantastic. Highly recommended

I went here Jan 11 2017 and got a bacon cheeseburger. The burger was under seasoned and tasteless. I also got a poutine and it was. Nothing to write home about. They do use real curds but the gravy isn't hot enough to melt the curds and the gravy kinda sucks. This place in my opinion is really over rated and certainly not cheap for what you get. It was my second time here and I can't see myself returning ever.

Been here many times... always an excellent burger and fries to die for! Price is a bit rich, however you get what you pay for.

We don't eat fast food so did not recognize that this was a fast food chain. We thought it was an independent restaurant. Not a nice one, mind you, but we were just driving through Barrie and wanted a bite to eat. I ordered their Nacho Burger. The guacamole was put on the bun too soon and it was a soggy mess by the time I received it. I was very surprised that my fries came in a NY fries container, but having looked them up it now makes sense.I couldn't tell you when they last cleaned their ladies' room but if I had seen it prior to eating I likely would have left without ordering. I will definitely give this place a pass in the future.
