Uncle Bob's Country Buffet-Barrie

I understand that it was about an hour from closing. So there wasn't lots to choose from.A great variety to choose from normally.Quality of food was to me, was Average.Price was good for unlimited food.The Bar is a big bonus! Extra $$ though.Location was difficult if you don't know the area. GPS brought us there.Would I recommend? Yes. Would I return? Not within 2 hours of closing.Golden Corral in The United States is better. Only my opinion.

Unfortunately there is only 1 location nearby the Toronto area. Otherwise I would be eating at Uncle Bob's more often. The restaurant is clean, the food is excellent and the price is very good. Great place to take the family for a nice evening out.

I have to say even though the food is not great for you as it is mass produced and it is a buffet, the price was reasonable, the food was hot, they had a lot of items in all categories to it, and it was sort of "happy food" as it could satisfy you one way or another. With unlimited drinks in included ( I mix the red slush with vanilla ice cream to make a D Q float) it is a very good price. Ribs surprisingly good, curds to make your own poutine, I will go back but not soon.

My husband and I came here for dinner to try something new! We were pleasantly surprised. The food was hot and fresh. Lots to choose from. The fried chicken was delicious and big portions of white meat. I really liked the bruschetta, pot roast w/mashed potatoes, ribs, and the meat lasagna and chilli was really good. The desserts are great and we really liked the mini donuts that are fried up fresh and you can add your own toppings. Free drinks are included. This is a nice place to bring your children and also to celebrate a family engagement would be a fun setting. I will come here again !

Visited here on Father's Day.Expected to have to wait. But no problem, shown to our seat immediately by our friendly waitress. The place is big and busy. Spacious seating and plenty of circulation space.Variety of food is extensive and I could not find fault - waffles were a little overdone.Desserts were plentiful and interesting. Small portions of lots-Yum! Place is spotless, washrooms likewise and food was filling, well cooked, and plentiful.Place to go if you have a hunger to kill without being overcharged.We will return.
