Route 330 Take Out - Barrington

Wow, what an amazing find! This seafood take-out truck is a hidden gem located in someone's backyard. The food is incredibly fresh and tasty, with generous portions at a very affordable price. We had to ask for directions the first time we visited, but it was well worth the effort. The fish and chips were delicious, as was the seafood plate. Everything was top-notch and we were told that the seafood was purchased fresh just hours away. Even my British partner, who is usually very particular about his fish and chips, was impressed. We will definitely be making another trip to Cape Sable Island just for this amazing seafood. Highly recommended!

Oh my goodness, this place is a hidden gem! The seafood here is absolutely amazing - so fresh and delicious, you'll want to go back for seconds. It's easy to miss, as it's located in someone's backyard with just a few picnic benches for seating. We drove past it the first time without noticing and had to ask at the Tourist Office to find it (near Clark's Harbour, close to Boundary Street). The prices are very reasonable for the high-quality seafood they offer. The fish and chips I ordered and the seafood platter my partner had were both generous in portion size and full of variety (fish, scallops, shrimp, mussels, freshly cut chips, etc.). Everything was incredibly fresh and tasty - even my British partner, who believes the Brits have the best fish and chips, was impressed. The lady who took our order mentioned that they source all their seafood fresh just a few hours away. This was easily the best meal we had in Nova Scotia during our holiday. We will definitely make the trip down to Cape Sable Island for their seafood the next time we're in the area, and I highly recommend you do the same!

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! The menu had a great selection, and the crepes and organic cider on tap were superb. But what really stood out was the young and dynamic team working there.
