Feedback gevenI am always puzzled by the negative reviews that some people give the Ferry Hotel. I have been a loyal customer for many years and cannot think of any complaints. During my recent visit just a few days ago, I enjoyed the delicious carvery as usual. What stood out the most was the warm welcome from Tom, who made me feel valued. It is a rare thing these days. I left the restaurant, as usual, completely satisfied and even received a lovely farewell from both Tom and Laura. Perhaps the issue lies with the customers themselves rather than the restaurant. This is just my opinion, but I have never been disappointed by the Ferry Hotel.
Ordered a takeaway on the app as they had a deal on 40% off Ordered the food for 8:45pm I arrived at that time to be told that the kitchen closed at 8pm So a 45 minute round trip to collect some food for me and they tell me when I get there Then to further my disappointment this joke of a man called George, looked like some version of a microwave technician dressed as a chef came out and started laughing about the whole thing, when I told him how much I had travelled he found it funny Spoke to someone at head office who said We actually overpaid you on the refund by 3p and we consider this material closed Really ???? Avoid this joke of an establishment Horrendous.
I went with my two boys for tea. The food was lovely, all fresh and tasty. The service was 10/10. Molly was so friendly, really welcoming and chatty. Such a friendly, beautiful girl with a bubbly personality. The other girl that served us was called Faye. Again, lovely member of staff, really helpful.
Me and my friend came for a roast dinner everything was spot on. Molly and faye were very kind and made sure we had a fantastic experience. Will definately be returning
