Barton Baking Company

I had notice the big sign on this place as I headed for my destination. As I had breakfast on my mind, it was duly noted. However, I wanted more than coffee and donuts for breakfast. After taking care of business, this app told me Barton Bakery was the number 1 place in town for breakfast. There didn’t appear to be the diner that I was really looking for. Ok I’ll try the bakery. Good choice! The cashier was on the phone taking an involved catering order. The cook (owner? stepped up after a minute. I watched him prepare my huge breakfast sandwich. While the eggs were cooking, he started wrapping slices of coffee cake that looked wonderful. I got one of those slices too. The sandwich was huge on fresh bread, just so yummy! Really glad I stopped. It was just what I wanted even if I didn’t know it at first.

Just finishing a delicious loaf of raisin bread from @Bartonbaking in VT. It slices beautifully, Toast perfectly and is not my usual sourdough. I’m so glad I stopped.

Check out their made to order breakfast! Super fast and yummy. Also, make sure you leave me a loaf of that jalapeno bread . AMAZING!

Stop reading reviews and just go. Five stars is not enough! The butter sugar “cruffins” are hands down the best pastries I’ve ever eaten. ?

Super friendly staff!! Great freshly baked bread!! Cookies are yummy along with the freshly baked cinnamon rolls!! I'm going to keep going back to try everything eventually!! So worth the trip!
