My friend Hal and I eat at Jim's Family Restaurant about once a week. Great service and great food.
Breakfast was awful. Bread was so hard you couldn't eat it. The omelet was dry and way
I love Jim’s Restaurant in Bartonville, IL and go there with my son to eat breakfast. Whether we wait weeks or months to go in, they are always so friendly and polite. Even if we get busy and do not return for 2 months or whatever, when we order, they always ask my son if he wants “his usual”(which is the large skillet breakfast, 2 sausage Pattie’s on the side, coffee and water. . How they can remember that is beyond me. They always ask him about his kids, it’s like we’re family. As for the food, it’s always cooked to perfection and is absolutely delicious! Also I love that we can order breakfast anytime!! If you are in Bartonville, make a point of stopping in, you won’t be disappointed and will no doubly become regular customers. We live in Peoria but the people and food at Jim’s is so great, it’s well worth the drive across the river!!!
Pleasingly surprised at how friendly they were. A real at home feeling. The food was delicious.
