Since the place is a cafeteria, the choice is limited, of course (a meat dish, a vegetarian one and a special offer for diabetics,) but includes a salad starter, a soup to follow, a main dish and a dessert, all coming at around 17 Swiss francs. When we were there, we got lettuce salad, a broth topped with small stripes of omelet, a vegetable quiche with fried potatoes and creamy saffron sauce, and a fruit salad. The food turned out to be rather bland; salty, but otherwise not much seasoned, so all in all nothing famous. Also, the portions were on the smallish side. I assume you could ask for second helpings without meeting any problems, though, seeing as we got two additional salads simply because our attentive and friendly waitress heard me comment on the small size of the one we'd just had. Drinks are not included in the menu deal, but are coming at a reasonable price (soft drinks for less than 3 francs, coffees for 3.50).So, everything taken into account, this is a pleasant place to take your book to on a rainy Sunday and just hang about - if you are not picky about food.
This cafe corner in an oldsheim, now has just as little on the hat with an everyday cafe operation, like a mc- donalds with a 5-star place!
