Restaurant St. Alban-Eck - Basel

We had recently lunch here and enjoyed a nice meal at reasonable cost. Not many newer reviews have had such an operational change. The clientele seemed to be residents or businessmen. The offer of a local day menu that was reasonable and we ordered from it. Lunch including salad or soup, main and dessert. The service was helpful, even charging a fast-running smartphone. Worth a try for lunch, can't comment for dinner.

Cosy atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff, good food. Koch 's greeting was a beautiful salmon pate in crisp pastries that was very beautiful. We then had beef tar for appetizers followed by cancer on a bed noodles and spinach plus a very nice bottle of white from their attractive wine list.

A cozy little restaurant serving high-quality food and excellent wine. The price is also high for Basel. Service excellent with competent waiters who made very good wine recommendations to accompany our food. Also vegetarian options were available. Recommend the special options that were all excellent.

Even if Basel is not a bustling city, you may sometimes wish to go to a restaurant with a quite atmosphere. We like this place, it is small and cosy. Food is good and wine selection appropriate. For meat lovers try out the hamburger . Overall I would recommend this restaurant.

Follow the daily recommendations that are not on the menu. The food is excellent and the kitchen is ready to make all combinations desired. Location can be recommended and we will be back there.
