Great pub great atmosphere glad the two horrible blokes that run the fish and chips have gone. Tracy and geeza are doing a great job.

The Golden Lion did an amazing job of catering for my Mother's wake. They catered for 40 people at a very good price. There was a huge variety of different fare to cater for all tastes including a veggie choice. Everyone commented that the sandwiches were the best ever. They included a large cheese platter with biscuits, cakes etc. and tea and coffee. I cannot thank Kirt and the team enough for their service and care throughout, which made a difficult day bearable. I enjoyed a lovely cold Foster's after taking a walk around the city. I just stopped in for a quick break, but I must say it was a fantastic experience!
