Starbucks Coffee - Basingstoke

A nice enough shop although their coffee is nothing special. There is disabled parking, toilets and a drive through as well as indoor and outdoor seating. There are no rapid chargers at this Starbucks site. There is a Gregs next door of you want tea, decent coffee or need a bite to eat.

Good coffee, quiet so plenty tables free but oh my goodness, not a single table was cleared, even though the place was virtually empty. The only table to be cleared until we were just leaving (we were there over an hour) was the one a member of staff cleared because she was sitting there for her break.

Drinks are ok. The drive through is always sooooo slow, even when there appears to be little to no walk in customers. Staff standing around looking like they are not doing much of anything. For the price, you'd expect it to be a bit better.

Painfully slow and disorganised. Great location and lovely environment, but always let down so much by the number of people stood waiting. I’ve seen lots of people walk out because of the wait times; we’ve done the same plenty of times too.

Went in tonight about 645 with my daughter. Most tables taken with people or left over rubbish and cups. Wanted to eat in but couldn't have proper cups, had to have take away cups! Not enough staff to wash up so was told. Ask for a tea for 1, told no regular tea so settled for a hot chocolate! Terrible! Only drank half! Not a good choice for a diabetic! Had two different cakes and the red velvet was dry and tastless. Obviously been cut far too long. Won't go back!
