I had an incredible experience at an exceptional pool and snooker club tucked away in the Moniton Trading Estate. I visited with my ex-wife for a casual pool game as we work on reigniting our relationship. The selection of alcoholic beverages and facilities was impressive, almost as much as the memory of seeing my ex-wife in her stunning lace wedding dress on our wedding day back in the summer of 1992. We played on table number 2, where the soft green felt covering the elegant mahogany table allowed the balls to glide smoothly, making the game thoroughly enjoyable. After our match, we relaxed in comfortable leather chairs while indulging in a delicious rollover hotdog. The sausage was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and well-seasoned, topped with crispy onions and a tempting array of sauces—so many options that I had to skip my usual mustard! The toasted white baguette was crusty and served in an eco-friendly cardboard sleeve, which I appreciated for its sustainability. I had a brief chat with the manager, Wayne, to share my delight about the evening. He appeared to have a soft spot for my ex-wife, with a sparkle in his eye, but who could blame him? She truly is gorgeous, and I could tell he was just being friendly! I plan to return in March for the Oasis tribute and am eager for more events and evenings at the Academy. My son and I always have a fantastic time playing snooker or pool, and we often enjoy dinner while we're there. It ticks all the boxes for me: a great atmosphere, good prices, excellent facilities, and a delicious Chinese takeaway inside. It's a win-win-win!

I've been to this restaurant a few times recently, but I feel it's getting worse rather than better. I don't mean to disrespect anyone, but I don't feel very welcomed here. It seems more focused on how much I'm spending, which is why I took off a star.

This is a fantastic venue for any young aspiring players interested in snooker, pool, or darts. The place is exceptionally clean, and the staff is friendly.

Recently, the entertainment at this restaurant has been getting better and better. With such amazing staff and a great atmosphere for socializing, it's the perfect place to enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine and a variety of other dishes. If you’re new to Basingstoke, Hampshire, I highly recommend paying a visit—you won’t be disappointed!
