The Grain House At The Olde Mill Inn

The dining experience here is always reliable. It has a charming old-fashioned atmosphere, and the staff is very courteous.

We had another wonderful experience at Grain House. We always enjoy the pleasant and warm atmosphere of the restaurant. We were happy to see it was busy, with a lively dining room and bar area (where we sat), as well as some parties happening in the banquet areas. However, we were seated right away, and both the food and service were excellent. The menu has options for everyone, and the prices are reasonable. It's one of our favorite go-to spots, and we are never disappointed.

The dining experience and service were both terrible. I strongly advise against visiting this place, especially if you have darker skin. It seems they prefer to keep staff and customers apart.

We had a nice time. 2 older women adorned and they were very happy with everything!

New Year’s Eve. I chose it because I like quiet dining and this place is still old school in that regard. Beautiful ambiance, very low noise, comfortable seating, not too cold or too hot. Service was excellent. The only problem was that the food was just average. Not very inspired. We don’t like lamb so we ordered off the menu and not the NYE special, but still….I had a $47 filet mignon which was dry and tough, not well cooked at all. The potato gratin tasted good but seemed to be maybe a day old and very visually unappealing and a little dry. The salad was excellent. Drinks were good. The staff were very friendly. If they could get the cooking up to the standards of the rest of the experience this place would be awesome. I will come back because I think the food issues were probably because it was NYE and maybe they got stuck not being able to get good provisions that week and were running out maybe.
