Tsuru Japanese Cuisine - BASKING RIDGE

Been going to Tsuru for well over 10 years. Always fresh and delicious and the staff is great. Best sushi around and it's not close tbh

Most of the sushi was tasty, especially the salmon roll, but we were not a fan of the toro. The beef satay had good flavor but the portion was tiny for the price. The chicken fried rice was pretty bland, and it had sliced up baby corn in it, which created an odd texture in some bites and resulted in me only eating about a quarter of it. Overall, the food is fresh, but the portion sizes across the board are way too small to justify the hefty price.

This is New York quality Sushi. Hands down the best sushi in the area. I read the reviews and they were spot on. Thank you for bringing this epic cuisine to Morristown. It's no joke folks.

Shumai was good but the avocado sushi looked a day old. Already browning by the time I got it.
