I had the pleasure of eating two days in a row at Amedeo’s Trattoria. I’m always in search of that authentic trattoria, where there is no need to reinvent food. I’m a retired chef and have seen and prepared all possible food combinations. At Amedeo’s I appreciated tradition and execution. Even the simplest of dishes can be a miss, but not here. Freshness, execution and wholesomeness were excellent. I wish I lived in Bassano, would absolutely be a regular. Bravo Amedeo e la sua moglie…
We went there twice, because we wanted more of that delicious food! It's a really small guestroom and the menu changes everyday, that's why there is no printed menu and the owner of the restaurant tells the menu to every guest by himself in 4 different languages. The home made pasta is incredible and so are caprese and carpaccio. Also the meat dishes were extraordinary good! The house wine is really cheap with 3,50€ for 0,5 litres. Reservation is recommended!
