White Horse Inn, Barnby Moor

We went to the White Horse for dinner with high expectations after enjoying previous experiences at the King William in Scaftworth. Upon arrival, we ordered drinks at the bar before being directed to our table at the end of the area down the left side of the bar. We were left to find our own way to the table and waited for menus for twenty minutes before I had to ask for them myself. The service was slow and disorganized, with our food taking a long time to arrive. Although the food was tasty, the overall service was extremely poor. We had to go up to the bar to order drinks as no one came to us, and we had to ask for dessert menus as well. Despite the delicious food, the slow and neglectful service left us feeling disappointed. We ultimately decided not to stay for tea or coffee. Overall, our experience at the White Horse was marred by the lack of attentive service and slow pace of the meal, prompting us to leave earlier than expected. The staff's behavior as we left also left much to be desired.

Went for the chicken burger and it was absolutely delicious, the whole familyloved it, staff was lovely and friendly also. Keep up the good work!

Outstanding in every aspect! The New Year's Eve lunch was fantastic. I ordered the 16oz fillet cooked perfectly. The staff, especially the landlady, were fabulous.

The food is always amazing so no complaints there. Service on food coming out was a little delayed, lipstick stain on wine glass which we asked to be changed and also for one of the starters that we had to ask for it! First time I have had to say not happy with something at this restaurant.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The Sunday lunch is incredible! The staff are very welcoming and willing to accommodate any requests.
