We're three families, a total of 20 Pax ate here. The atmosphere is good for families and the staff has accommodated us with tables and chairs. We ordered the Boodle meals with Tilapia (1 piece per set), salted eggs tomatoes, pieces grilled chicken and squid, watermelon. Your Java rice was top! All in all a good experience for affordable price.
The food selection is good. The place itself is quiet and they successfully caught the Filipino vibes with their interior design. The crews are very approachable and attentive to the customers' needs.
Thought went into the ambience, which very Filipino, and is conducive for boodle fights, groups/families. There is a selection of combo packages for boodle fights. There is also an attempt to be more environment-friendly by encouraging use of bare hands (it is after all, a boodle house) and use of paper straw. My order was the grilled tilapia solo meal. The price, at PHP 119, was affordable, but the fish itself was hard and rubbery, and was bland. The wait staff, though friendly, were gathered as one group in one of the tables. Though the table was unoccupied, all customers were served their orders, it is distracting to see all wait staff using one of the tables during a lunchtime service.
Java rice was really good. Boodle fight on a budget. They had different sets to pick from. And a lot of add ons on the menu are available. Liempo was good.
