Samphire Restaurant - Batemans Bay

We had a fantastic meal with amazing service at a very reasonable price. Both of us enjoyed three courses each and drinks for under $150. We will definitely be returning.

Came here to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. The restaurant did not disappoint. For starters I had the local oysters in vinaigrette, my wife chose prawns in panko breadcrumbs with haloumi cheese. Both were fresh and perfect. For mains we chose the fish of the day - delicious, nothing more needs saying. We weren't expecting to have dessert but the food had been so good we had to keep on eating. My wife said her tiramisu was excellent. For me, I'd lost track of what I'd ordered but it had chocolate and nougat and passion fruit and coconut. In brief, it was heaven on a plate. Recommended highly.

We stuffed the restaurant around a bit. It was a business dinner with my wife and children as well, but they were tired from the trip and opted out, so was just my mate and colleague Brian and myself. This place really is a gem. Really nice food, well-presented, efficient & friendly service. Good selection of beer and wine, nice atmosphere, high-quality food.I'd like to come back next time, it is worth it.

This restaurant is attached to the Esplanade Motor Inn in Batemans Bay. We had dinner here and the service was excellent, efficient and friendly. The menu wasn't large, though plenty of choice.I had the Beef Cheek Ragout with gnocci, peas and peccorino. Very tasty and tender. My husband had the skirt steak with cauliflower puree and thrice cooked chips. Also delicious and tender. I can highly recommend the Tirramissu for dessert.We had our breakfast there the next morning as well and there were plenty of choices including eggs, cereal and fruit.

Arriving late to Batemans Bay and the staff were so helpful ensuring we didnt miss out on dinner. The menu was varied and offered a great selection. Great meal, yummy dessert, all round excellent experience. Woild highly recemmend & will definitely return as the menu changes monthly.
