Kennebec Tavern Marina - Bath

I have been to many seafood restaurants, but the Kennebec Tavern is by far the best. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, the food is hot, fresh, and delicious, and the alcohol selection is top-notch. I highly recommend the Kennebec Tavern to anyone looking for a great seafood meal. The menu has a wide variety of options to choose from, including lobster rolls, clam chowder, and fresh fish dishes. The food is always cooked perfectly and the portions are generous. The Kennebec Tavern also has a great selection of draft beers, including many local and craft beers. We dined here last night and overall, I was quite pleased. Our waiter was fantastic and took great care of us. My mother-in-law ordered the peach salmon and absolutely loved it. I went with the lobster tortellini, which was pretty good. However, I’ve come to realize that I'm not a huge fan of lobster. That’s just a personal preference, not a reflection on the restaurant. I’ve tried lobster several ways during my visits to Maine, and I just don’t think it’s for me. The sauce and noodles, though, were delicious. My husband ordered the chicken pot pie, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. It’s a non-traditional pot pie without a crust, and the flavor had an unexpected tang. Our waiter kindly removed it from the bill without us even asking. It wasn’t his fault that we chose something outside our comfort zone that we didn’t enjoy, but he handled it well. I would definitely return; the service was top-notch, and I believe that with a different food choice, it could have easily been a 5-star experience. Food: 4, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

The food was decent, though the prices are somewhat steep for what you receive. However, the views are beautiful and the staff is friendly and attentive.
