Absurd Bird Bath

Do not order from here if you have Vegan/Veg requirements. Last night we ordered 2 Vegan burgers on UBER Eats, and 2 chicken burgers arrived. Innocent mistake perhaps? NO. We ordered again, 2 vegan burgers, and again 2 chicken burgers arrived. This is dreadful and disgusting. After waiting all evening for food that can't be eaten, you need to do better.

I sampled some of the vegan dishes and they were fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant. The ambiance is wonderful and the staff was delightful.

I have visited Absurd Bird Bath 4 times. Firstly, I must mention the manager, June 19 to March 20, who is a nice guy and always a pleasure to interact with. Secondly, the wing challenge was great fun. My friend tried it with the dry herb and placed 10th on the leader board, making for a fun night. When I tried the challenge with bbq marinade, I knocked him off the board. Both experiences had their ups and downs, but the chicken was excellent. On other visits, I had burgers and waffles which were both delicious. The burgers were far superior to KFC and most good burger restaurants don't get the chicken coating crunch right, but Absurd Bird got it spot on. I have had enjoyable times here with tasty food. I go by the name "wingman Nick" on the leader board, and even though my friend is struggling in the photos, we have had a great time at Absurd Bird Bath.

Had great time in the Exeter branch in January and been trying to get a table at the Bath branch for some time in between lockdowns. Finally got there today. What a disappointment. Whereas the food was okay nice chicken, great waffles and tasty sauces but yuk cold fries ... the experience was all the more ruined by the waiter. We got the impression he would rather be anywhere but at work. Poor attitude, poor comprehension, vague knowledge of the menu and a complete disinterest in us as customers. We were merely barked at and pointed at our table. The waitress was a lot more helpful. I know from my previous experience that the food can be great so it was a pity that today's visit was not a good experience.

Considering they are meant to specialise in fried chicken this was disappointing, feel like it just wasn’t very fresh, a bit dry and food was not very hot, bbq dip was nice as was the chicken burger but nothing out of this world! KFC would’ve probably been better...Onion rings that were in the burger were rock hard and chewy not light crispy and fresh at all like they’re meant to be...
