The Crown

The staff at this restaurant were extremely rude. There was no children's menu available, and the lunch menu was not offered on weekends. We were forced to order from the main menu, which was very expensive for just a burger and a handful of chips, with no salad or extras. Additionally, we had to wait over an hour for our food with no communication or apologies from the staff. All 20 of my family members were very disappointed by this experience.

Yesterday, on October 21st, we had a family reunion with 40 people at The Crown. The room was fantastic and accommodated us perfectly. The friendly and approachable staff made organizing the event a breeze, and on the day, the service was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, and the food was delicious. A big thank you to The Crown and its staff for making our special day even better than we expected. We will definitely be returning and will recommend it to others.

I reserved a table at The Crown for a special meal to celebrate mine and my husband's anniversary. The staff were friendly, efficient, and always had a smile on their face. The food was delicious, especially the pies! It is a cozy pub with a great atmosphere. We will definitely return for a few drinks by the fire.

Visited here for afternoon tea with family. The service was pretty slow even though it was quiet, but the afternoon tea was lovely, plenty of filling food and tasty cakes! Really nice interior too, would definitely visit again!

Decent service and nice decor, but let down by the low quality food. Left with a stomach ache and won't be returning anytime soon.
