Jacket potatoes absolutely lovely and the garnish was also excellent, although quite busy service was very quick. Staff all very attentive and efficient.
Wonderful little cafe. I was served by a very kind waitress called Maddy. The breakfast was outstanding and I will definitely be a regular at this exquisite establishment.
I visited Peasedown on a mild October day and dined at the Meeting Place cafe. The last time I went to this village the only cafe was in the shop next door to this which was very much smaller and is now a hairdressers. This cafe is run by a local church group it has about a dozen tables inside with more available out the front and the rear. There is quite an extensive menu and the food is well priced. I chose a breakfast (with cappuccino) at less the £10. Note this is only available until 11:30 am although the cafe 's website does not mention this. I arrived a little after this but was still served so full marks for customer service there. You order at the counter and the stuff is bought to your table. The drink was served at the same time as the food which was delicious. There is a customer toilet which was kept very clean. This is very much a 'meeting place ' for locals so there are conversations going throughout so if you are a student or a businessman looking to do some work on a laptop over lunch then this may not be the place for you! Otherwise recommended.
Excellent sandwich, panini and pulled pork. Impressed by the real lemon and ginger tea, freshly brewed in a pot (no teabag! . The garden at the back had shady areas and was the perfect setting for lunch. Thank you.
