Prices are definitely not the usual Bath excessive if you’re on a budget Even though the staff were stupidly busy (it was the Christmas market) the food was piping hot, drinks served quickly and staff really friendly. Well worth a visit if your passing
Don't dismiss trying this cafe as in market. We just had the warm cheese scone and some cake but were excellent quality. Best cheese scone I can remember. Everything we saw others eating looked similarly good and choice is surprisingly extensive. Ps the prosecco is much cheaper than anywhere nearby!
I discovered a book stall in the Guildhall my husband discovered this place. Great cup of coffee, which isn’t too expensive, cakes scones available you can watch the world go by. Quick friendly service too
Tried to buy coffees in Starbucks, the queue was long, the premises dark, and the coffee isn’t that special anyway. Gave up and went into the Guild Hall Market. Great coffee, homemade cakes and a much more pleasant atmosphere. Staff friendly and relaxed. Clearly the sort of place locals visit, leaving the tourists to never find this gem.
Café in the guildhall market. Sit on a stool at the counter, there are no tables. Decent espresso £2, served with a smile. Looks like a place with lots of regulars
