A delightful surprise! I live nearby but never considered going to Bath, MI for a meal. The diner is adjacent to and connected with the Honey Hole, so I believe they are both under the same ownership. We entered through the Honey Hole since the diner side was locked. Emily was our waitress, and she was incredibly friendly and attentive, clearly enjoying her job. We both ordered burgers; I chose homemade chips while my husband opted for fries. Both were delicious. However, I would recommend asking for the burgers to be cooked well done—mine had a slight pinkness, but it wasn't a major issue. The Honey Hole serves as the bar side of the establishment, and I overheard another patron remarking that it's a nice, friendly bar at night. While we're not sure if we'll return for the bar scene, we will definitely go back for a meal. Don't let the street deter you; Bath may not have a bustling business district, but the people are friendly and welcoming. Overall, this is just a diner serving good, classic diner food from what we saw on the menu.

There are plenty of dining options here, but what stands out about this place is its down-to-earth, unpretentious atmosphere that creates a wonderful vibe. Don’t be misled by the decor; after all, you don’t eat with your eyes. We entered through the attached bar and took a left to get to the diner. It has an old-school charm, and our waitress was both kind and attentive. The seating was comfortable—everything you’d hope for in a diner. The food was fantastic, and the portions were generous. My wife and I have decided that this will be our new favorite casual spot because they obviously take great care in preparing their meals, even as it was close to closing time. Excellent work, Bath Village Diner; we’ll definitely be back!
