Porters Cafe - Bathurst

Stopped in for breakfast on our way to Vivid! Service was quick and friendly, coffee great and food was delicious. The Farmhouse Omelette was one of the best I've ever tasted, and ditto for the Genoese Breakfast. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

This busy cafe continues to provide excellent fare for the sit-down diners and does a roaring trade in take away coffee. Friendly service and great breakfasts. The big breakfast would satisfy the largest appetite and there is a good selection of alternate meals. A must have is mushrooms on the side, devine. There is no rush to move you on, so it is a relaxing place to enjoy that second great coffee

Delish! Just delish! The eggs benedict are delicious and I loved that we are able to sit and chat without being rushed or hurried. Coffee is great and it's such a relaxed, open atmosphere. Great for children too, there's plenty to keep them interested on the menu and space enough to take a pram if you need to.

Trip advisors beware! Via trip advisor reviews did i try this cafe. Was left feeling very dissapointed. Ordered the Eggs royal. Poached eggs that were over done and small. Smoked salmon was fine but over powering. All served on supermarket grade English muffins. Hollindaise sauce was quite nice. Coffee wasn't great. On the weaker side and only white sugar available. I wouldn't go back. There are far better cafes in Bathurst.

Good atmosphere, very friendly staff who take time to make sure customers are well looked after. Food and coffee is top quality.
