The Hen And Bow Espresso - Bathurst

About a year ago, I had a fairly average experience with customer service at this restaurant and vowed not to return. (I know, a bit dramatic.) Fast forward a year, and I find myself passing the Hen and Bow almost every day on my way to work, and I visit Trinity Heights at least once a week for the newsagent. So, instead of taking an extra detour during my commute, I decided to give the Hen and Bow another chance, and I ended up returning about five more times. Each visit has truly impressed me, with both the outstanding customer service and the fantastic coffee. I'm giving it 5 stars—everyone can have an off day, and it seems that was just the case during my first visit.

Amazing coffee and a warm atmosphere! We've visited this place twice in the last month, and each time we left thrilled with the outstanding coffee and the welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly and attentive. We called in advance for bacon and egg rolls alongside our coffees, and everything was prepared when we got there, which is ideal for a road trip when you're pressed for time. The restaurant was lively with customers, and it’s easy to see why. We’ll definitely return!

Hen Bow is well-known for its scrumptious bacon and egg rolls, and the Thai beef salads featured on the Wednesday lunch menu are absolutely exceptional. The friendly and laid-back staff create a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home in the community. I definitely consider myself a regular here.

This is the closest you'll get to an inner-city Sydney hipster café in this western area. Their coffee is fantastic, and the pastries look just as amazing. Next time, I’ll definitely have to try one – I can't wait!
