Pheasant, Greene King - Batley

I can't believe some of the negative reviews I've seen. It seems that if the pub is busy, the staff might struggle to keep up. My family and I dined here last Thursday, 22/09/16, and we enjoyed it so much that we returned this week. On both occasions, I ordered the filet steak, and it was cooked perfectly to my liking. The seasoning was spot on—hot and crispy. The chips also arrived piping hot, along with the onion rings. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and we only waited about 20 minutes for our meals. Plus, we used a £5 discount voucher that was easy to obtain on their website. I plan to return next week with my family again. We all agree—the food was fantastic! Five stars.

When my food arrived, I ordered a chicken burger, and at first, I thought the portion seemed a bit small. I was pleasantly surprised! The burger was beautifully presented, accompanied by fries and coleslaw. The service was also very friendly.

Great dining experience with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff greeted us with warm smiles, making us feel welcome. Definitely worth a visit! They offer an excellent value menu, especially on Thursday nights when you can enjoy a steak for just £7.

We really enjoyed our visit and my friend was very happy with her vegan meal. a lot of choice on the menu. definitely recommend!
