Fratelli's Italian Grill - Baton Rouge

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and was quite disappointed with the quality of the food. The "Focaccia" appetizer I ordered was essentially a hotdog bun with a tomato slice and processed cheese, which was not at all what I expected from an Italian restaurant. The veal Marsala lacked flavor and the noodles were overcooked. The garlic knots were also lacking in taste. The overall dining experience felt like something hastily thrown together in a microwave or found in a school cafeteria. It's clear that the owners prioritize cheap ingredients over quality. The fact that the hostess also served as a bartender and server was unprofessional. I hope they improve their standards and focus on authentic Italian cuisine. I didn't bother asking for a refund, I just want others to be aware of my disappointing experience.

This restaurant has an authentic kitchen and their bread is amazing. The loaded highest pizza had fresh toppings and was perfectly cooked. The chicken and veggies option was also delicious for those looking for a healthier choice. The service was attentive and it is a family-friendly establishment.

We wanted to try a new restaurant and thought we would try Fratellis because of the great reviews…..well we won’t be coming back! Food was terrible!! We ordered the house salad first and it was just lettuce out of the bag that’s it! We also had the chicken Alfredo and the combo seafood over angel hair which tasted disgusting and soupy. Truly wished this would be our go to place but no absolutely not!

Absolutely awesome, got a off menu special, steak with Marsala wine and Shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled veggies enough for 2 ??

Horrible service ......portions were small for price .....forgot my salad....would not recommend to anyone..
