Feedback gevenWhere has this been hiding all my life?! The best crawfish we've had in a long time. We just ate 12 lbs by accident craving more. It was a perfect mix of super giants littles seasoned to perfection. Just the right amount of heat without blowing out your palate. Y'all, this is the best in town. Hands n tails down. (Puns unintentional, maybe)
My coworker ordered boiled shrimp from this place one say and has the break room smelling Ah-Maz-ing. I asked her where 'd she get them from and she said heads and tails She said it was a seafood mart with a restaurant in the back. So today, I tried it. I am glad I did. When you walk in, it 's the seafood mart where you can purchase raw seafood. In the back there is a dining area with a bar. You can seat your self. The place is very casual. I had the bowl of seafood gumbo. It was good but I had to add Tony 's they get points for having Tony 's on the table I also ordered the boiled shrimp. They were huge and flavored. I was afraid I would get a few but I got a good bit. I will definitely be going back Service was great
My beer was served in the bottle with no offer of a glass. I'm a little bougier than that, but when I looked around I realized it was just me. And they do have Abita, so when in Rome! The blue cheese dressing had chunks of real blue cheese. Okay, that meets my standards for sure. The salad is a mixture of iceberg and romaine so that was an eh. Iceberg as we know is the lettuce with the least amount of nutrients and the least amount of yum. The music was 1970s and 1980s. As I started this review Wildfire was playing. I ordered the Cajun Crawfish Eggplant. This is the sliced, batter and fried eggplant (s) with deep fried crawfish tails and étouffée and cheese. And it was totally yummy, with a melding of great flavors mixing in my mouth and popping with flavor and a little spice, when I first saw it I was put-off because it was all together but it was delicious all together.
Worked for this place about 8yr.s ago, if you have not had the opportunity to stop by and try this place You ,family and friends are truly missing out the food is fresh Michael Cashio was a great person to work for ,treated not just me but all is employees really awesome if I ever had the opportunity to work for him again I would jump out it , anyway like I said when you get a chance to stop in you definitely will not regret the food or the serve !!! I always come here when I'm in town. Tonight we had boiled crawfish, very good! I had the shrimp poboy and my Dad had the Fried Oyster platter. The poboy was outstanding! Perfectly cooked shrimp. The oysters were also perfectly cooked. There was an abundance of oysters on the platter! I have always left with a go box. So much food! The staff is quick and very friendly. When I'm BR make sure to visit.
