The food was cold when delivered to the table for everyone. Mine was the exact opposite of what I ordered. In addition, the waitress we had paid very little attention to us. After we placed our drink and app orders, it took half an hour for the margaritas to arrive, and even then it was only because a different waitress observed that they'd been waiting so long that they were getting melty so she brought them over instead of our waitress. This la carreta might be in mid city, but it's certainly not mid. The cocktails are delicious. The food is consistently good, and I've always gotten great service.

We had the Carne Asada and it was outstanding. The seasoning was perfect and the el diablo sauce had just the right amount of heat. Portions were generous and the service was attentive. A good selection of Mexican draft beer topped it all off. Very good salsa, as well. The place had a good vibe..it felt new and refreshed.

I have loved LaCaretta for over 10 years. Today was the worst experience ever. First we wanted to sit outside and was the only guest. Was addressed and told waitress we will sit under the pavilion because it was a little cloudy. Waitress came over to take our order. It didn?t matter that she barely spoke English but she brought chips and dip and we asked for to go cups. Waitress left and never returned. Me and my guess continued talking and patiently waiting for over 20

I went here on Cinco de Mayo. Had a blast. It was extremely busy. We were at a table within an hour. They had a live band and the daiquiris were generous. Had the cauliflower tacos. They were delicious. Definitely will return.
