La Carreta Mid City - Baton Rouge

I'm here twice. I love her cauliflower tacos. During my first visit back in June, they had buffalo chicken tacos that were also delicious. Unfortunately, they were for a limited time, but hopefully they bring them back. I was just here for the tacos, so I can't say how the other food is. The margaritas and chips salsa were also good. The first picture comes from my first visit in June, the last taco is the buffalo chicken. You can also see it better on the plate opposite my first taco. The second picture is my recent visit on 30 November. The other tacos are the steak and the cauliflower. Margarita was strawberry, I think. I originally had another taste, but it was watery, so I switched it for the pictured.

Always an amazing experience! The Carne Asada was piping hot and sizzling!

It was a calm hour, but dining felt like being at a lively celebration.

I had a wonderful experience here on a date. The atmosphere was clean and airy, making it a pleasant setting. My server was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to my needs throughout the meal. The ladies' restroom was spotless and modern, which I really appreciated. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the frozen mango margarita was just perfect. I will definitely return later this year.

Great food, my fave is the taco salad. Great staff, always welcoming and friendly. BEST MARGARITAS! Go get you one... Or 3
