Can’t lie, laughed whenever they brought out this “meatloaf sandwich” and it was a single slice of toast encumbered by a 1lb hunk of meatloaf with a half cup of baked beans poured on top. But it was delicious. Would give 5 stars but it took 30+ mins to receive our food and it was not busy.
I don't understand what happened to this place. Oh wait, I think I have a good guess. Restaurant Impossible happened. We went in there today and the food wasn't the same. Firsr off, they didn't have any soft drinks. I had the burger which was awesome as usual but, they put like 8 fries on the plate. My co worker had the chicken plate, 6 oz. The chicken was rubbery and there were 2 little pieces on the plate. The barbecue sauce was spoiled. The waitress went around tasting all the others on tables and said they all tasted like that and put one of those bottles on the table and left.I watched 2 customers walk out because noone would take their orders. My opinion? Go back to what you were doing 10 years ago, it worked. I used to wait in line to get in this place. Now, the front door is still locked 15 minutes after opening time.
Tastey meat. The brisket is a tender and tastey as any I've had. Worth a visit.
I got the Tamales and smoked leg quarter with 2 sides. Everything was awesome.
The best, most tender brisket in Baton Rouge. Looking for a lighter fare option, try the smoked chicken panini. Yum! The table next to me was feasting on the bone in half chicken. Oh my it looked so good it will definitely be my next order. I’ve been totally obsessed with their brisket for years. Time to branch out. Topping off my meal, I had a quick visit with Yolanda, the owner whom I’ve known for thirty years. Didn’t want to take up too much of her time since she was making their tasty and unique BBQ sauce. If you haven’t been to Pimanyoli’s you’re missing out on the best BBQ in Baton Rouge. Located at the intersection of Airline Hwy and Barringer Foreman Rd.
