Sonic Drive-in - Baton Rouge

I absolutely love the Sonics cheeseburger meal for those days when I'm craving something indulgent. On days when I just want a tasty snack, the Chicken Tender Kids meal hits the spot. So delicious!

I usually don’t enjoy fast food anymore due to poor food and service, but I would give this Sonic location 10 STARS if I could. The food and service were exceptional. The two women working the night of February 25, 2021, went above and beyond in delivering outstanding customer service. I had been out all day, and being pregnant, my husband and I stopped by at 10 PM. They still took my order and served us fresh food. If all fast food restaurants treated their customers like these two women did, the world would be a better place. I live 30 minutes away but will happily make the trip to Hooper in Central whenever I want a burger. Also, it would be great if you could add an option to tip these wonderful ladies by credit card because I didn't have any cash and they certainly deserved a tip. I had an excellent experience thanks to the fantastic customer service! I accidentally spilled my drink as soon as I received it, and the staff member promptly made me another one and even helped me clean my car. I really love this Sonic! Great customer service all around!

I paid $8 for a medium drink and a cheeseburger. It seemed like the meat was leftover from the night before since it was only slightly warm when I ordered at 10:30. Honestly, it tasted just like the food from a Sonic in Kentwood. I don't think I'll be returning to Sonic again.

This place doesn't stay open for long. They tend to close early, turn off all the lights, and take off their headsets. The food and staff are usually decent, but the hours of operation seem to fluctuate based on the manager's mood during service.
