Voodoo Bbq Grill - Baton Rouge

My husband and I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is truly excellent, and the service is wonderful as well!

The empty parking lot should have been a warning sign. Part of my order was missing, so I had to go back inside to reorder it. The brisket and sausage were incredibly dry and served cold. They didn’t have any pickles or jalapeños and seemed confused about how to add onions. I just wanted raw onions! The sandwich didn’t resemble the photo at all. The only redeeming item was the fries. I ended up wasting $40. You really need to take more pride in your food.

We have dined at this restaurant multiple times and generally had a good experience. However, our last few visits have been disappointing. The brisket was so flavorless that I only had the desire to eat one piece.

I ordered carry out online. It was $65 for 4 meals. I was surprised at how light the bag was when I carried it out, and my concerns were confirmed when we unpacked the bag at home. A bit too pricey for the portion sizes, so we will not be back.

OH. MY. GOD. GO THERE AND GET THE PULLED PORK! I have never had pulled pork THAAAAAT good. In. My. Life. Holy **** it was to die for.
