Willie's Restuarant - Baton Rouge

I'm what my kids call a frequent customer that need stock in Willie's. . The atmosphere is warm and very friendly. I Love Willie's this is my EVERY THURSDAY stop after work. The boiled Shrimp are my favorite but of course you can't go wrong with whatever you choose on their menu. Christian is one of the best managers I've had the opportunity to speak with and the Willies crew giving you top notch service! You won't be disappointed. Check them Out! 5+ J. Franklin

We chose Willie's for a post graduation lunch. We had about 25 people. Our server was top-notch! She happily took orders, explained menu items, answered questions, and made suggestions. The food came in huge portions and was excellent! We started with Gumbo Nachos, Seafood queso, fried alligator, mozzarella logs, and onion rings. Hot and delicious and served within 10 minutes of ordering. Choosing an entree was difficult as everything sounds amazing. There's a huge variety of sandwiches, salads, po-boys, Cajun entrees, and all kinds of fried goodness! I ordered The Bayou salad-this could be shared! It's covered with fried crawfish and sautéed shrimp. It's piled high with tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, and spring mix. It's served with an Asian fusion dressing, but you can request something else. I took home a full to go box of this because it is so big. The Honey Mustard Chicken and BBQ Ranch Burger were both very nice portions, freshly cooked, and served with all the trimmings. We also order the fried catfish and it was a huge plate of well seasoned crispy fish. I'm a little sad that I live several hours away. I'll definitely suggest this place when we are in town. Delicious food and fast friendly service!

The food was really fresh and flavorful. I had the Redfish RYN with onion rings The service wasn't the best but was t the worst either. I would have to say it may have been busy for her, for it was pretty crowded. The restaurant setting is really a relaxing environment. I'll definitely be coming back.

We got curbside pick up; service was prompt and friendly. I had a chicken club. The chicken was overcooked on one side....way overcooked. Had to cut it with a knife to be able to eat it. I expected a well cooked piece of chicken for the price. The chips were hard and over seasoned (but that could just be a personal preference thing). My friend had fish tacos which she described as ok . Not a glowing review. One and done for us.

I love Willie's. I've never eaten inside and have always gotten to go but it's always been hot and fresh. They also have an amazing pick up order experience. As a disabled person, having a reserved area and having the food brought to you is top tier service. Everyone is always so helpful and respectful. Unfortunately, they no longer serve my go-to which was the Smokehouse Spud which was a huge baked potato with a cajun cream sauce, cheese, and pulled pork with a sweet bbq sauce. I hope they bring it back. The seafood potato was also good but they don't use baked potoes anymore. I'd love to see them bring those back. I enjoy that entrees come with salads as well as they round out the meal. My next favorite item is the catfish. Either way Willie's is a 5 but if they bring back my favorite they'd be a 5 super plus (i made that rating up)!
