Lucky Rooster - Battle Creek

LR is my favorite restaurant in Battle Creek because of its delicious food, excellent service, and inviting ambiance. I'm proud to be a regular there.

Overall, we had a fantastic visit to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. Our server was exceptional—very friendly and always greeted us with a smile at our table. The food was, once again, outstanding, and we feel fortunate to have such a gem in Battle Creek. The only downside was that our table wasn’t ready when we arrived, which was surprising since we had made a reservation. When we were finally seated, I had to request that our table be dried off as it was still wet from cleaning. Additionally, we were seated near the entrance, so it was a bit chilly with people coming in and out by the hostess desk. Despite these minor issues, we had a lovely evening and will certainly return.

The service was exceptional. We were greeted promptly and shown to our table right away. Kayla came over immediately to take our drink order and told us about the New Year’s Eve specials. We ordered calamari fries and two drinks, which she brought back quickly. Our entrees took about 15 minutes to arrive: a medium-rare steak and a pasta dish. The steak was just a touch undercooked in the very center, but the pasta dish was outstanding. The general manager stopped by our table to check in on our meal, and she was incredibly friendly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely return.

My new favorite lunch/dinner spot. The quality of the food and drinks are Excellent! Do not sleep on Lucky Rooster!

Brought a group of 10 with reservations. It was my wife’s 50th birthday. The staff was outstanding. Food was very good and timed perfectly. Everything went very well.
