Cecile's Bistro & More - Battleford

I visited this place for lunch. Don't let the name fool you this is in no sense of the word a bistro. The menu had about 10 items and none of them would classify as bistro food. Looks like they are going out of business as there were For Sale signs on all their "decor". I will not visit this place again.

We recently stopped in for dinner while touring across the Prairies. We thoroughly enjoyed the Hot Hamburger dinner special and the Chicken Cordon Bleu. Judy was a fabulous host, the atmosphere was fantastic, and make sure to take out the homemade butter tarts for the road. Thank you, Judy, for your hospitality and great food. - Mark and Diana

This restaurant is a new addition to the Battlefords and we have dined here multiple times since its opening. The interior is really nice, cozy, and tastefully decorated. The food is consistently outstanding and homemade. They offer a large menu with numerous daily specials, specializing in fresh foods without the common deep-fried options. There is something for everyone in the family here. It is also a great spot to stop for coffee and dessert. If you haven't tried this place yet, it's definitely worth the visit.

The food at this bistro is excellent, the atmosphere is great, and the service is friendly. Cecile's Bistro & More has everything you could ask for. We tried the chicken Alexander and Mexican chicken with baked potatoes, along with a delicious mixed green salad and butter tarts for dessert. The coffee was also fantastic. You will definitely enjoy your visit to this historic downtown Battleford restaurant. I can't wait to go back again soon!
