Feedback gevenModernised since our last visit and visually more attractive. The food was, however, disappointing. Small helpings, unimaginatively cooked and presented. Unseasoned brochette cooked on wood fire and tiny chicken escalope, accompanied by a handful of lettuce and a few fries.
We had a very nice lunch here today the formule menu at 11.90 euros for beef and carrots followed by a peach bavarois. Of course the 'beef and carrots ' was much more than that and was delicious. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The lady who has run this place for years still cooks the steaks, brochets etc. over an open wood fire and the aromas coming from the dining room are just superb. The brasserie/bar area was busy and all the food served there looked excellent.
We were looking for somewhere to eat and stumbled here. Fantastic food, a very nice lady served us and it was reasonably priced. Traditional French cuisine and cooked well.
Stylish jacco shell cassolette. Idem for the turkey scalope, whose delicious sauce was just lifted. "family" atmosphere near the large fireplace. very friendly and authentic welcome. high quality ratio generous and very affordable. recommended for a welcome break.
