Lumber Barons And Stables - Bay City

This bar became my home away from home in March of 2021. I've seen its ups. I've seen its downs. This bar has so much potential to be the night club that Bay City needs. The issue is in today's world it seems that the only people that want to be a bartender are the people that want to do nothing and get paid for it. So they see a lot of bartenders come and go once they get told they actually have to work for their money. I know the manager is struggling. But she loves that bar and she needs your support. Bring your business to this bar and watch this bar return to its former glory! Oh, I forgot to mention the Line Dancing that they have every Wednesday!

Had a blast. Live band was great, drinks were Great and the crowd was great. This place is like 4 bars in one. We spent most of our time in the back 'Stable '. This place was an actual old stable that they jave converted into a bar. So one of the coolist features is the old Stables which are now seating areas. The middle part of the place is a 'Fire Bar ' and the front is a brew Pub. Live music 5 days a week, 'Slick Jimmy ' was playing the nighr we were there. They played great 80-90 rock and we danced the night away.

If I could give more starts I would, Iv never been a person who reviews establishments.Or does much online the banquet manager went way above and beyond for our banquet party. The least I could do is share how wonderful they did. A few servers called in leaving them last min short handed. Yet our food for 100+ was set out on time,Dirty plates attended to instantly,dessert plates ready on our table,and everything started on time. There was no service at the buffet, watching portions one table didn’t get salads. The manager Courtney was extremely apologetic and corrected it.They had the upstairs decorated so pretty and clean I can only imagine what they do for weddings. It was nice to see this young manager work so hard serving,cleaning,filling drinks, engaging with guest right along with her staff. Great Job Lumber Barron’s!

After having a wonderful dinner and beer flight, my fiance and I decided that we were going to rent both rooms upstairs for our wedding. We set up a meeting and were able to sample the food to help make our selections. All of the food was great, but certain dishes were simply amazing. The Prime Rib, while $2 more per person, is the best I've ever tasted. At the reception, they arranged the food so that four lines went at once. This made the wait time from table dismissal to eating minimal. That was ideal since everyone went back up for seconds, if not thirds. The large room upstairs has beautiful views of Bay City overlooking the river and a few down Midland Street. It has a dance floor and sat our 200+ guests comfortably. Malisa, who we worked with, was exceptional. Every question we had, she had an answer. Every small concern we had, she took care of. One quick text and it was done, but the great service didn't stop with her. All the other staff were fantastic too. The bartender in particular was great. He somehow was able to manage the whole reception and never have a line longer than two people. Impressive work considering I invited over a dozen fraternity brothers. I know this review sounds too good to be true, but on the biggest day of our lives everything went perfect. Lumber Barons has earned our consistent business and I can't wait to return with my new wife.

We wanted to find a brewery near by to take my husband out for his birthday!!! We Google it and it sounded pretty good !!! When we got there we where treated very nicely by everyone they explained everything to us about the menu the different beverages !! The food was So Amazing !! The smell made your mouth water before you could eat it !! All the different brewed beers beer-cocktails where also Wonderful !!! Our whole family loved the place said we where defiantly going back here to eat drink again !!! Loved the atmosphere of the building too !!! You have to try this place !!!
